My name is Lara. I'm an actress, writer and producer of Chin Up.

You may have seen me in TV shows like Tali's Wedding Diary or on stage in Bad Jews, Cabaret, Jersey Boys and Emotional Creature. Or you may even remember me from way back when, when I was presenter on SABC 1's Yotv. If not, then just check out season one and two of Chin Up. That awkward funny girl? Thats me! I want to create the type of entertainment that I enjoy watching. I believe that comedy is universal and I want to showcase the best of what South Africa has to offer. My stories are deeply personal and relatable. Devin Toselli is my co-producer and Chin Up's director of photography A.K.A the guy holding the camera.
