We are proud and excited to announce that Chin Up Season 3 was filmed in July 2018 after our successful Thundafund fundraising campaign.
In the much anticipated new season of Chin Up we find Lara as she is packing up her life in Cape Town and moving back home with her dad in Johannesburg. She has been defeated by the "industry" and wants to take a break from acting, but as she loosens the reigns on her career she begins to thrive both professionally and personally. This season we have put together another all star cast of South African talent such as Makgotso M, Loyiso Macdonald, Momo Matsunyane, Glen Biderman-Pam, Oli Booth, Charlie Bouguenon, Ntosh Madlingozi, Claudine Ullman, Puli Rampoana, Sue Pam-Grant, Sonia Esguiera and Roberto Pombo. James Cuningham and Bryan Van Niekerk reprise their roles as Lara’s Dad and agent respectively. The Season 3 premiere date will be announced soon. Lara plans to submit the new season to web festivals in New York, L.A. Canada and London in 2019.
